Onam 2023

Events

ANORA, joyously celebrated the festival of Onam on September 17, 2023. The vibrant festivities took place at the Abu Dhabi India Social and Cultural Centre and were graced by the presence of the esteemed chief guest, H. H. Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Saeed Bin Shakbout Al Nahyan. The Onam celebrations were led by ANORA President Mr. A. M. Basheer, Acting General Secretary Mr. Shuhaib, Treasurer Mr. Faxon Lawrence, Vice Presidents Mr. Robinson Micheal and Mr. Manilal, Onam Convener Mr. Jayachandran, and Anora Senior Member Mr. Yesusheelan. The event witnessed the participation of several notable guests, including Mr. & Mrs. Ashish Verma, Mr. Aneez Sahal, from the Embassy of India, Mr. Vimal Vijayakumar, Managing Director of Al Zaabi Group, Mr. V Muraleedharan Chairman, SFC Group, Mr. Jayaprakash, Chairman, Raco General Transport, and numerous other prominent figures from various walks of life, who added to the grandeur of the occasion with their presence. Maveli Ezhunnallathu, Shinkari Melam, Thiruvathira, Kerala dances and onam songs were also staged as part of the Onam celebrations.
